Summary:
Worker from an agency – Temporary to Hire.
Responsibilities of the Temp to Hire Shop Coordinator Assistant include, but are not limited to:
- Support the Shop Coordinator in daily operations of the service/shop environment.
- Assist with scheduling, coordinating, and tracking work orders, repairs, and service jobs.
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate job, inventory, and customer data in internal systems.
- Coordinate material flow between warehouse, shop, and vendors to support timely job completion.
- Communicate with technicians, sales teams, and customers regarding job status and priorities.
- Prepare job documentation including quotes, work orders, packing slips, and invoices as needed.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the shop office and related administrative areas.
- Assist with inventory counts, shipping/receiving paperwork, and basic procurement requests.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support operational efficiency.
Qualifications of the Temp to Hire Shop Coordinator Assistant include, but are not limited to:
- Prior experience in an administrative, operations, or shop support role preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, ERP systems preferred).
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, industrial environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to learn technical products, processes, and internal systems.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
