Job Summary

Security Officers at Hampton House play a vital role in shaping the atmosphere of our members-only nightlife space. Professional, attentive, and composed, they regulate access, maintain safety, and ensure an upscale environment for guests and staff alike. This role requires discretion with high-profile clientele, strong observational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while supporting the overall Hampton House experience.


Responsibilities

  • Greet and screen all guests, verifying identification and age compliance

  • Ensure only authorized individuals are granted access to the venue

  • Monitor guest behavior and crowd dynamics to maintain a safe, enjoyable atmosphere

  • De-escalate conflicts with professionalism and remove disruptive individuals when necessary

  • Patrol and observe key areas of the property to discourage misconduct or unlawful activity

  • Work in close coordination with VIP Hosts, bartenders, servers, and management to ensure smooth guest flow

  • Monitor security systems, including cameras and entry points

  • Control the entrance and departure of employees, vendors, and guests in line with Hampton House protocols

  • Provide accurate, detailed reports on incidents and daily activities to management

  • Communicate effectively with the team via radios and other devices

  • Respond quickly to emergencies, administering first aid or CPR if required until medical professionals arrive


Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of security protocols and emergency procedures

  • Ability to operate surveillance systems and security equipment

  • Exceptional interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills

  • Clear, professional verbal and written communication

  • Ability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure situations

  • Strong attention to detail and situational awareness

  • Team-oriented but capable of working independently

Other Requirements

  • 21 years of age or older

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Calm, polite, and professional demeanor at all times

  • Strong customer service orientation

  • High level of personal integrity and work ethic

  • Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle report

  • Security or nightlife/hospitality experience preferred

  • Availability for late nights, weekends, and holidays
