We are seeking a Business System Analyst to drive requirements and business process alignment for a program integrating SAP Concur Expense with Oracle Fusion ERP using near-real-time/API-led integration (via OIC/Concur adapter). The goal is to eliminate file/manual steps, reduce reconciliation effort and posting errors, improve spend visibility, and enable payment/status synchronization back to Concur.

Role and responsibilities

  • Run discovery workshops with Finance (AP/GL), T&E, HR, and IT; document current-state gaps (latency, manual file handling, master data issues, audit gaps).
  • Define future-state processes enabled by API integration:
    • Employee & Cost center sync Fusion → Concur
    • Approved expense ingestion Concur → Fusion (GL/AP/Projects)
    • Payment/posting status reconciliation Fusion → Concur
  • Produce BRD/FRD, user stories, process flows, data mapping specs (COA, cost centers, projects), and acceptance criteria.
  • Define business validations and exception handling (invalid account/BU, period issues, duplicates, failed postings) and reconciliation approach using stable IDs across systems.
  • Lead UAT planning/execution: scenario design, test data, defect triage, and business signoffs.
  • Support operational readiness: monitoring requirements, alerting, retry/replay expectations, and support handover checklist.
  • Support core business hours in the Eastern time zone (till 11 PM IST)

  • 6+ years as BSA/BA for enterprise finance platforms (T&E, AP/GL, expense posting/reimbursement).
  • Strong functional understanding of SAP Concur Expense (report lifecycle, approvals, reimbursement/payment statuses).
  • Good understanding of ERP finance concepts (GL, AP, accounting periods, validations, COA segments).
  • Strong documentation and stakeholder management; able to translate business needs into actionable specs for teams.
  • Experience in pharma implementations with awareness of:
    • Field force/MSL travel & expense patterns and cost allocations (brand/TA/project).
    • Compliance/audit expectations (traceability, approvals evidence, segregation of duties, controls mindset).

Nice-to-have skills 

  • Exposure to Oracle Fusion Financials/HCM and/or iPaaS (OIC) integration projects.
  • Experience with multi-entity/multi-country rollouts and higher transaction volumes.
