Senior Financial Analyst

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an important member of our PYXiS Finance team you will:

  • Assist with monthly financial accounting, including journal entries and financial analysis, to ensure timely and accurate reporting of monthly financial results for Business Units
  • Prepare monthly financial reports including Income Statement
  • Co-ordinate quarterly forecast revisions and monthly updates for Business Units
  • Track and report various monthly business indicators
  • Liaise with the various Business Unit and Group Leaders to provide support as required
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations including prepayment and accruals schedules.
  • Prepare/review monthly commissions schedules for payroll processing
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses as required by Management
  • Ability to use AI tools to perform operational analyses.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Attained a Business/Finance degree (i.e. BBA, BCom, MBA, MAcc. etc.) with preference given to those with relevant further study/designations (e.g. CPA)
  • Minimum of 5 – 7 years’ experience working in a Finance/Accounting role
  • Advanced skills and experience in MS Office Excel
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills with ability to set priorities, adjust and respond professionally to changing priorities and ad hoc issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal savviness skills with a proven ability to interact with all levels of management.  Possesses strong leadership/command skills and demonstrates organizational agility
  • Excellent technical learning, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) is an asset
