Job Description

The School of Business at Elmhurst University invites applications to join the pool of part-time (adjunct) faculty to teach in the area of Economics,

Position Status: Exempt

Salary Range: The pay range is $3,800-$4,000 for a standard 1.0 credit (4 semester hour) course. New part-time faculty start at $3,800 (Adjunct Level 1).

Work Location: This position is ineligible for remote work.

Responsibilities

Teaching responsibilities include Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, and/or upper-level economics courses.  Adjunct responsibilities include course preparation, grading, and being available for students outside of the classroom. There is a maximum teaching load of six courses per year.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
