With a focus on quality drinks, great music, and memorable guest experiences, Little Mez offers a more refined, late-night setting where attention to detail and service truly matter.

As part of Future Hospitality Group, we are driven by our core values of Culture, Collaboration, Aspirational, Communication, and Consistency.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and confident Duty Manager to lead our team and oversee evening service.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for running smooth, well-paced shifts, supporting your team, and creating a consistent, high-quality guest experience.

Cocktail experience is highly desirable, as this is a drinks-led venue with a strong focus on product knowledge and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage shifts, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
  • Deliver a high standard of guest experience in an intimate setting
  • Support, train, and motivate the team on the floor and behind the bar
  • Maintain strong service standards and attention to detail
  • Manage bookings and guest flow throughout the evening
  • Handle guest feedback with professionalism and care
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws and health & safety requirements
  • Lead by example and contribute to a positive team culture

About You

  • Proven experience as a Duty Manager or a strong senior ready to step up
  • Current LCQ and Duty Manager Certificate (or ability to obtain)
  • Solid cocktail knowledge and bartending experience
  • Calm, confident leader with strong communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and service standards
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced but controlled environment
  • Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay and staff benefits
  • Opportunities for growth within a dynamic hospitality group
  • Staff discounts across all venues (and more)
  • A supportive and professional team environment
  • Free counselling support
  • Industry Rate 3 Peak Ski Pass
  • The chance to work in a unique, premium cocktail venue

If you appreciate great cocktails, enjoy leading from the floor, and take pride in delivering a more refined guest experience, we’d love to hear from you.
