Job Description

Summary

The Connected Support Administrator reports to the Connected Support Manager & is responsible for assisting the Machine Monitoring Specialists, maintaining accurate records, updating files, & recording key metrics to further develop & advance the machine monitoring department. 

Essential Functions

  • Maintain JDLink connectivity with all customer & Murphy owned equipment.
  • Maintain system settings in the Intelligent Alerts Triage System to generate alerts viaemail when abnormal machine operating conditions are detected.
  • Establish and maintain a process to identify, communicate and resolve emergingtechnical issues detected by the JDLink Telematic devices onboard the assignedequipment.
  • Provide insights into machine usage, maintenance schedules, and performance trends
  • Develop & maintain effective preventative maintenance tracking plans.
  • Create and maintain reports on JDLink terminals transferred, warranty expirations &more as systems & needs change.
  • Assist Murphy branches with Operations Center training & customer onboarding.
  • Provide backup support to other department members during absences.
  • Work with other Murphy Employees as well as John Deere CCMS to share informationand prepare action steps to address equipment abnormalities.
  • Be proficient utilizing Murphy Tractor’s Business System Equip.
  • Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and proceduremanuals.
  • Maintain a clean work area and perform miscellaneous housekeeping duties associatedwith the job.

Other Functions

  • Participate in all required training as it relates to the job function.
  • Assist with other duties assigned and directed by corporate management within theframe work of Murphy Tractor and Equipment Company, Inc.’s objectives.

Physical Requirements and Work Schedule

Able to do occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.

Education/Work Experience

High school diploma or GED required. 2 year degree in industry related field or equivalent experience preferred.
