This facility provides critical care services to northeast Colorado, and this role is responsible for ensuring excellent patient diagnostic care by overseeing clinical laboratory workflow, staff, and coordinating with other hospital leadership. This position is accountable for leading, managing and directing assigned responsibilities and functions that contribute to the operational and financial success of the hospital clinical laboratory.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, health care administration or related field.
- Certification as a medical technologist under ASCP, NCA or equivalent as defined under CLIA ’88 regulations.
- Three (3) years’ experience as a department supervisor or manager.
- A significant understanding and knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures of different software programs.
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Green Belt Certification
- Additional related education and/or experience
