Position Department: English and Media Arts



Position School: School of Communications and Media 



Overview:

Assist with the Media Arts Gallery:



Responsibilities:

Participate in Painting, moving pedestals, hanging artwork, labels, etc. acting as a gallery representative for visitors, answering questions about the exhibits. Also help out during opening receptions with set-up/cleanup of reception area/food.  may be required to help the department with marketing and recruiting events (immersive experiences) depending on their schedules



Minimum Qualifications:

o Familiarity with Media Arts o Eligible for a work-study position with Robert Morris University o Able to work during the Gallery opening hours (Monday-Friday 10:00 am-8:00 pm), partial availability during these hours may work o Assist the Gallery Coordinator o Photography and Design skills a plus o Motivated, self-sufficient person with good organizational skills o Punctual and dependable



Academic Years Preferred: Freshman Year or Greater



Wage: 10.00



Wage Frequency: Hourly
