The Physical Therapist Assistant works under the supervision of a physical therapist to implement and modify treatment plans for patients, assisting them in improving mobility, strength, and function. They carry out therapeutic exercises, educate patients on proper techniques, and monitor progress to support recovery and rehabilitation goals.

The Physical Therapist Assistant  must have:

·         Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant college or university

·         Valid license and registration for the state of MD

·         Experience with long-term care preferred
