Job Description

TITLE: Summer - Site Monitor (Seasonal) 

DEPARTMENT: Nutrition

REPORTS TO: Nutrition Coordinator

CLASSIFICATION: Hourly, $18 non-exempt (Seasonal) 

Hours: M-F 9a-5pm with a 1hour lunch (7 hours/day)

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will be responsible for ensuring the overall operation of assigned sites and staff to include daily driving to multiple assigned sites, transporting and picking meals as needed from assigned sites and summer lunch hub, conducting site visits and reviews, maintaining records, preparing reports, suggesting and implementing corrective actions, and other duties as assigned. Salary is based on experience and will be a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.  Because this position is seasonal, it is listed as part-time on the BGCNF Organization Chart.

Open Requirements/Supplemental Information 

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • GED or High School Equivalency. 
  • Two (2) years of experience in providing services or working with school-aged children.
  • May be required to work early mornings or late afternoons. 
  • A FL Class E Driver's License is required for Site Supervisor and Site Monitor positions, before appointment, and must be maintained.
