Job Description

What is Noise Trading?

We make markets where no one else can — in the flows of culture and social attention. Noise Trading powers the world’s first financial contracts on attention. We provide continuous liquidity, tighten spreads, and ensure markets on Noise remain deep, efficient, and tradable — no matter where the conversation moves.

Working at Noise Trading

Our Values

  • Markets First — We focus entirely on trading and market impact, free from sales quotas or politics.

  • Merit & Collaboration — The best ideas win. We work side by side across trading, research, and technology to solve complex problems.

  • Learning & Curiosity — We embrace challenges, refine strategies daily, and value sharp thinkers who thrive on solving hard problems.

  • Freedom & Accountability — We provide the capital, tools, and autonomy to trade at the highest level, with performance and discipline driving rewards.

  • Unlimited Potential — Compensation scales directly with results, with no ceiling for top performers.

Role

We are seeking a Junior Quantitative Trader to drive high-impact strategies at the intersection of markets, data, and technology. You will own the full lifecycle of trading—designing and executing strategies, leveraging proprietary systems, managing risk in real time, and innovating on new approaches that directly impact firm performance and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and refine our proprietary trading system to achieve consistent, scalable returns

  • Apply disciplined risk-management practices: tune parameters, monitor anomalies, and enforce controls

  • Monitor real-time market data, adapt strategies dynamically, and collaborate with technology teams

  • Create and submit trading reports and post-trade analyses

  • Identify limitations, conceptualize enhancements, and develop next-generation trading strategies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM (e.g., mathematics, engineering, computer science); fresh graduates invited to apply

  • Strong analytical thinking, comfortable with uncertainty, and a systematic approach

  • Familiarity with programming or scripting tools (Python, C++, or similar)

  • Excellent communication skills, fast learner, and strong self-management

Nice to Haves:

  • Background in competitive strategy domains such as gaming, poker, or chess
