Director of Therapy

Brinton Manor is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Therapy to lead our team of dedicated rehabilitation specialists. As a Director of Therapy, you will be responsible for overseeing, teaching, and mentoring a team of therapists in an environment built on integrity and progressive, ethical care.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and organization of all departmental paperwork, including conducting documentation audits

• Plan accordingly and coordinate schedules to achieve maximum efficiency staff based on clinical needs and treatment activity of staff members

• Work pro-actively to build, manage, and schedule PRN pool, as needed

• Establish and promote clinical programs/enhancement as indicated

• Engage in recruiting interviews, employee development, goal setting, constructive feedback, corrective actions, performance appraisals

• Develop professional working relationships with staff, facility team members, residents, and resident family members

• Prompt preparation and delivery of any regular or ad hoc reports; as well as the ability to analyze, interpret, and achieve budget expectations on a consistent basis

Skills:

• Previous leadership experience preferred

• SNF/Long-term care experience preferred

• Current knowledge of treatment practices

• Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred

• Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities

Required Licensure:

• Current Therapy License in the State of PA. Must be in good standing.
