SUMMARY:
The Twisted Earth Line Cook will provide consistently excellent food and customer service in a clean and friendly environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare food consistently according to standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Ensure food safety and appropriate sanitation measures are followed.
- Stock items applying appropriate dating and rotation principles, FIFO.
- Operate and clean commercial restaurant equipment according to standard operating procedures.
- Maintain temperature logs, time logs, and waste sheets.
- Perform prep work as needed.
- Cooking in high and low volumes with the same amount of pride in presentation.
- Making sure to follow the Executive Chef’s direction on portioning, plating and no cross contamination.
- Working in an open kitchen, must use appropriate language all the time.
- Make food & sauces, date them & use them according to FIFO rotation.
- Make/Serve the guests food to Executive Chef’s standards.
- Keep up on dishes and keeping your area clean.
- Opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Must be detail oriented and able to keep busy without a lot of supervision.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
