Job Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator will be the primary point of contact for the employees assigned to their group of accounts. The individual in this role will provide day-to-day human resources operational support as needed or required by the employees in assigned groups. The individual will be the first point of contact for employee issues, basic benefits and 401k questions, company policies and other areas associated with the Human Resources Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supports managers and drivers with Employee Services inquiries.
  • Investigates and addresses Driver level (employee) relations issues.
  • Reviews incidents for potential policy violations and creation of corrective actions, or recommendations for terminations to ensure standardized enforcement.
  • Responsible for the HR Portion of new manager orientation.
  • Administer the employee engagement survey process.
  • Performs HRIS audits to ensure data accuracy.
  • Creates and updates reports for KPIs to include Turnover, Compensation, Unemployment Win Rate, Employee Engagement, Etc.
  • Participate in departmental continuous improvement projects.
  • Develops and presents training for new processes, policies, orientations, and Lunch and Learns.
  • Processes driver new hires, terminations, transfers, and personnel information updates.
  • Processes unemployment claims as they are filed.
  • Manages the �puppy program� and Passenger Policy.
  • Completes employment verifications, as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor�s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field required or 1-2 years HR experience
  • Knowledge of human resource database software preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
