Work Location: This position will be based at our Trenton, MO location

Hours: 40 hours per week.

Job Purpose: Provide administrative and logistical support, contributing to the efficient operation of the Education department, by coordinating and supporting education activities and documentation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with supervisor to maintain and coordinate the financial institution training program by scheduling all activities, organizing resources and maintaining a calendar and curriculum for all upcoming activities.
  • Assist and deliver comprehensive training to all new and existing employees on a consistent basis.
  • Assist in initial training of new hires and follow-up with advanced trainings.
  • Be confident in front of a crowd in order to lead group training.
  • Review existing training programs; suggest enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention and to meet the changing needs of the financial institution.
  • Order and track training materials and supplies.
  • Create reports and maintain accurate records of training attendance.
  • Utilize own prior financial institution knowledge and experience to provide support on application to users in all applicable departments of the financial institution.
  • Fully understand policies and procedures of the financial institution to assist with developing and presenting curriculum.
  • Have a desire to maintain a high level of proficiency and understanding of the deposit application products and to further your own knowledge through classes and online studies.
  • Manage special projects as needed
  • Assist with staffing needs at branches floating in emergency situations.
  • Travel required up to 80% including some overnight stays.    
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2+ year’s banking and customer service experience required
  • Understanding of the principles of classroom instruction, professional development training, and curriculum design
  • Ability to present information to large and small groups
  • Demonstrated effective time management skills
  • Outstanding ability to track and organize multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail

 

Working Conditions:

  • This job operates in a normal office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Requirements:

  • This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and open filing cabinets. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary.
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. 
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with others.
