Job Description

Department: Alexandria Clinic Maintenance 

Employment Status: Full-time (1.0), 80 hours per pay period 

Benefit Status: Full Time

Hours/Schedule: (Flexible with Hours)

Monday - Wednesday 4:30pm - 1:30am 

Thursday 4:30pm - 1:00am

Fridays 4:30pm - 11:30pm

Weekends: Every 9th weekend for Express Care (Around 2 hours)

Position Objective

The Environmental Services Technician is responsible for the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the facility. This position utilizes various equipment and chemicals to ensure the overall sanitation meets of the accreditation requirements.

 Essential Responsibilities

General Cleaning Duties

  • Vacuuming
  • Dusting
  • Moping
  • Deep Floor Cleaning
  • Window Washing
  • Keep required areas stocked
  • General outdoor duties such as shoveling snow

 Waste Removal

  • Day to day trash removal from the building
  • Recycling garbage sorted and placed in appropriate disposal area
  • Hazardous waste handled and disposed according to guidelines

 Communication 

  • Communicate between all team members in regards to daily/nightly tasks
  • Possess awareness to any maintenance issues that need to be addressed and communicate those issues to the Facility Manager 
  • Address the housekeeping needs of the clinic staff in regards to patients, employees, and Providers 

 Other Responsibilities

  • Perform all other related duties as assigned in a professional and responsive manner
  • Demonstrate the ability to use relevant equipment
  • Support, understand, and promote Alomere Health’s mission, vision, values, policies and procedures
  • Ability to meet the work schedule requirements with flexibility dependent upon the needs of the department
