Qualifications
Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement including time-in-grade restrictions, specialized experience and/or education, as defined below. Time in Grade: Current federal employees applying for a promotion opportunity must meet the time in grade requirement of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled. For the GS-14 level: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS- 13 level) that demonstrates their ability to plan, contribute, and coordinate IT Enterprise Architecture (EA). Qualifying experience must include: Skill designing architecture systems that can perform AI/ML functions. Advising, collaborating, or developing enterprise architecture processes or policies. Problem solving and developing solutions to address integration and interoperability issues. Operating as a subject matter expert leading IT transformation projects or initiatives. Performing research and providing impact analysis findings to key decision makers. For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. The employing agency is responsible for identifying the specific level of proficiency required for each competency at each grade level based on the requirements of the position being filled.
