Thompson Hospitality is seeking a Marketing Technology Manager to bridge the gap between marketing strategy and technical execution across our digital ecosystem. This role sits within the IT organization and is responsible for managing, optimizing, and scaling the platforms that power digital ordering, loyalty, guest engagement, and marketing automations.The ideal candidate is both technically fluent and marketing-minded, someone who can translate business needs into scalable technical solutions while leveraging data to driveguest acquisition and frequency. Restaurant experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
Marketing Technology Management
• Manage the MarTech stack, including but not limited to CRM, GDP, email/SMS marketing tools, website CMS, and third-party digital platforms
• Evaluate, implement, and optimize new technology solutions that support digital growth
Website Management
• Oversee all brand websites, including updates to menus, promotions, store locations, and content
• Manage restaurant group website and parent company website
• Ensure consistency and accuracy across all digital touchpoints with up-to-date
ADA compliance
• Partner with marketing to execute timely campaign updates and landing pages
• Monitor website performance, SEO basics, and user experience to drive conversion
Local Listings & Social Platform Management
• Own and manage Google Business profiles across all locations, ensuring accuracy of hours, menus, photos, and location data
• Manage Meta Platforms business accounts (Facebook/Instagram), including location pages, integrations, and platform-level optimizations
• Ensure alignment between local listings, social platforms, and core systems Third-Party Delivery Platform Management
• Manage third-party marketplace platforms including DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, and OpenTable
• Oversee menu accuracy, pricing, hours, and store-level configurations across all marketplaces
• Support onboarding, offboarding, integration, and reconciliation between marketplace platforms and POS/order management systems Campaign Enablement & Execution
• Translate marketing campaign requirements into technical execution (segmentation, triggers, automation, personalization)
• Support the building and deployment of campaigns across email and SMS
• Support testing strategies (A/B testing, segmentation experiments) to improve performance
Analytics & Performance Tracking
• Monitor and report on key performance metrics including guest acquisition, engagement, retention, attributed revenue, guestbook growth, and lifetime value
• Provide actionable insights to marketing and operations teams based on guest behavior and campaign performance
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Act as the liaison between IT, Marketing and Operations on all MarTech initiatives
• Support training and documentation for internal teams on platform capabilities and best practices
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in digital marketing, ideally in multi-location restaurants, retail, or hospitality.
- Proficient with website CMS platforms (Squarespace a plus), email marketing tools (OLO is a plus), and third-party marketplaces.
- Strong understanding of digital KPIs and customer journeys.
- Proven ability to manage projects across departments and balance multiple brand voices.
- Comfortable analyzing performance metrics and making data-driven decisions.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Prior experience managing teams.
- Experience managing restaurant delivery platforms (Uber Eats, DoorDash, GrubHub) as well as customer data platforms.
- Knowledge of photoshop, adobe, and Canva.
- Basic design or HTML knowledge is a plus
