Description

The purpose of the Lodge Housekeeper is to ensure and maintain the cleanliness of both lodges including locker room, dining areas, restrooms, and other

areas as assigned by the Facilities Manager. This all takes place after normal operation hours.


Qualifications


Essential Functions:



Cleaning all restrooms by scrubbing toilets and sink areas, sweeping and mopping floors, wiping walls and doors as necessary and emptying all trash.



Ensure restrooms are stocked with all consumables.



Checking the lockers for guest belongings and turning them into Guest Services. Sweep/mop the locker room.



Ensures dining rooms and food courts cleanliness by vacuuming and mopping floors. Empty all trash in both lodges.



Monitor the inventory of supplies.



Notifies the Maintenance Department of any repairs, safety or maintenance that needs to be addressed.



Education / Training / License(s) / Certification(s) Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age.



Physical Requirements:



Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs. without assistance.



Must be able to lift arms overhead.



Position involves bending, twisting, stooping repeatedly throughout the workday.



Must be able to ascend and descend stairs without assistance.



Must be able to walk from building to building.



Competencies Required:

Knowledge of safety and sanitation.

Knowledge of cleaning supplies and possible chemical reactions.

Professional communication skills.

Ability to work weekdays, weekends, and some holidays as well as during the evenings when required.

Ability to solve problems and take direction.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Possess internal drive and motivation.

Ability to work calmly under pressure and create a fun, professional work

environment.

Work Environment:



While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions. The employee occasionally is exposed to wet and/or winter conditions.
