We have an opening for an Activities Assistant to support our Assisted Living, Long-Term Care (LTC), and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) programs. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with older adults, has a creative spirit, and is passionate about planning and leading meaningful activities that enrich daily life and foster a strong sense of community.

Requirements

• One-year cognitive impairment experience required. 
• Certified Dementia Practitioner preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required. Related college degree preferred.
• Certification as an Activities Professional (per state and federal regulations) preferred.
• One year experience conducting activities programs in a geriatric activity setting or nursing home required.
• Ability to multitask required.
• Must be responsible, trustworthy and dependable.
• Ability to work with older adults and contribute as a collaborative team member required. Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to transport, move, or help transport residents of varying weights via wheelchair as needed.
