Position Overview

As a Commercial Lender, you will play a key role in expanding our loan and deposit portfolio by seeking out and cultivating relationships with prospective business clients. You will also manage and service an assigned portfolio of existing business member loans.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue prospective business clients
  • Grow the Credit Union’s business loan and deposit base
  • Manage and service an assigned commercial loan portfolio
  • Execute effective sales and business development strategies
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships
  • Drive results through sales goals and community engagement

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting highly preferred
  • Equivalent experience/education combination may be considered

Experience & Requirements

  • 4+ years of business banking or financial services business development required
  • 3+ years of commercial real estate lending required
  • Proven success meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Strong cold-calling abilities
  • Demonstrated leadership in sales and service
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must be bondable
