ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Repair, maintain and make improvements to all tools and fixtures
- Demonstrates ability to use all hand measurement tools.
- Assist technical services in machine repair, change over, set up and operation as required
- Safely operate all tool room equipment inclusive of Bridgeport mill, lathe, surface grinder, etc.
- Have abilities to assemble and disassemble tooling, dies and gauges
- Trouble shoot and resolve tooling problems
- Work with various materials such as tool steels, plastics, aluminum, and copper
- Must have or acquire personal tools to perform job assignment
- Demonstrates ability to read and interpret tooling drawings

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required; journeyman certification and/or equivalent experience preferred. This position is intended for senior-level or highly experienced candidates; entry-level applicants will not be considered.
