What You'll do

Cloud Engineer (AWS & Azure) is responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining highly available and secure cloud infrastructures across Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure environments. The role involves automating cloud operations and supporting hybrid and multi-cloud deployments for enterprise and Managed Service Provider (MSP) clients.

This position requires strong troubleshooting abilities across compute, storage, and network layers and close collaboration with internal and client technical teams to ensure seamless cloud performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Design & Management

  • Deploy, configure, and manage infrastructure on AWS and Azure, including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Azure Active Directory, Blob Storage, Azure SQL, and Azure Monitor.
  • Support hybrid and multi-cloud environments across AWS and Azure.

System Administration & Monitoring

  • Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows servers in AWS and Azure environments.
  • Configure and optimize monitoring solutions (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.) to track health and performance.
  • Ensure robust backup, patching, and disaster recovery mechanisms across infrastructure components (AWS Backup, Azure Backup, Site Recovery).

Security & Compliance

  • Implement IAM, role-based access control (RBAC), and encryption policies in AWS and Azure.
  • Maintain compliance with organizational security and governance frameworks.
  • Conduct regular system audits and remediation to ensure best practice configurations across all platforms.

Incident & Problem Management

  • Act as a technical escalation point for complex infrastructure incidents.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures through automation or configuration improvements.
  • Document incident responses and infrastructure changes with precision and clarity.

Collaboration & Client Support

  • Work with client teams to assess infrastructure needs and propose optimized cloud and multi-cloud solutions.
  • Participate in capacity planning, cost management, and cloud governance initiatives across AWS and Azure.
  • Document infrastructure, architecture, processes, and operational procedures.
