Summary
Lincoln Elementary School is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a full-time Kindergarten Teacher. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and engaging learning environment that fosters the social, emotional, and academic development of young children. This position requires a commitment to providing a high-quality educational experience for all students, supporting their growth and instilling a love for learning.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with state standards and the school curriculum.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support student learning and well-being.
- Assess and monitor student progress through observations, assessments, and reporting, and adjust instruction as needed.
- Collaborate with other educators, specialists, and support staff to address the diverse needs of all students.
- Integrate play-based learning and hands-on activities to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress, classroom activities, and school events.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and trends.
- Maintain a well-organized classroom and manage classroom behavior effectively.
- Uphold school policies and procedures while promoting a positive school culture.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Valid teaching certification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with young children, preferably in a classroom setting.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools to enhance learning experiences.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
