OPERATIONS AT TRACTIAN


The Operations team is responsible for bringing our IoT devices to life. Our focus is on making the impossible possible, always with a strong results-driven mindset. We integrate hardware, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain, and are responsible for the entire production process of our equipment, from component sourcing to the final adaptation of devices to meet strict international standards.

WHAT YOU'LL DO


As a Procurement Specialist at Tractian, you will be responsible for ensuring the supply of technical raw materials for industrial production. You will act at the interface between R&D and manufacturing, establishing global partnerships and ensuring the financial and operational health of the direct supply chain through high-impact strategic negotiations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Procurement Specialist at Tractian, you will be responsible for ensuring the supply of technical raw materials for industrial production. You will act at the interface between R&D and manufacturing, establishing global partnerships and ensuring the financial and operational health of the direct supply chain through high-impact strategic negotiations. 


Responsibilities
  • Execute the procurement of technical raw materials with an exclusive focus on direct items
  • Establish strategic partnerships and secure contracts with support from the legal team
  • Identify early signals of shortages to mitigate impacts on the production chain
  • Negotiate competitive delivery timelines and optimized payment terms
  • Prepare executive reports with a strategic business perspective to support decision-making
  • Carry out material planning using MRP tools


  • Requirements
  • Strong strategic negotiation skills and business acumen
  • 4+ years of experience in international procurement, especially with the U.S. and Asia
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, MRP tools, and advanced Excel or Google Sheets
  • Fluent English for negotiation and relationship management with global suppliers
  • Availability to work on-site in São Paulo - SP
