Summary
An Extrusion Operator is an entry-level position in the ERP extrusion area. Personnel hired into this position are trained on one or more of the following operations: extrusion, taping, inline cutting and drilling, post curing and packaging product required for orders.
Job Responsibilities
- Follow work instructions to safely and efficiently complete production
- Report daily production accurately
- Set up necessary equipment based on established standards
- Verify products meet quality standards
- Measure parts using calipers and rulers to ensure parts are proper size
- Understand process sheets, work instructions, and product prints
- Report to work as scheduled and on time.
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Must be safety conscience
- Must be able to keep detailed records
- Must have good hand and eye coordination, good eyesight, corrective lens acceptable
- Must be able to read/write English and make simple math calculations
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and sit or stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to maintain a clean work environment
- Must be able to work in a dusty, hot/cold environment
- Must be able to work as a team member
- Must have a willingness to cross train on multiple processes
Payrate / Hours
- Starting Payrate - $14.50/hr
- + $0.50 increase with completion of training & 90-days
- 1st shift 7am-3:30pm
- 2nd shift 3pm-11:30pm w/ +$1.00 shift differential
- 3rd shift 11pm-7:30am w/ +$2.00 shift differential
