Process Engineer | Louisville, KY | $80K–$90K


Bluegrass Supply Chain is looking for a Process Engineer who thrives on solving complex operational challenges and driving measurable improvements across supply chain systems.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and optimize supply chain and warehouse processes 
  • Analyze performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities 
  • Lead process improvement initiatives from concept to implementation 
  • Use simulation tools to evaluate and refine production strategies 
  • Present data-driven recommendations to leadership 
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards 

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and test new processes to improve productivity 
  • Analyze workflows and identify areas for improvement 
  • Develop and maintain reports documenting process performance and changes 
  • Track and interpret key performance metrics 
  • Use process simulation software to evaluate production strategies 
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to leadership 
  • Develop clear implementation plans for process improvements 
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards 
  • Support departmental initiatives and cross-functional projects as needed 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field 
  • Experience in process, quality, or supply chain process engineering 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Proficiency with computer systems and process engineering software 
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations 

Preferred:

  • Graduate degree in Engineering or related discipline 
  • Proven ability to lead change and influence process improvements
