Maplewood Academy, a Seventh-day Adventist boarding high school located in Hutchinson, Minnesota, is seeking a passionate and mission-driven educator to serve as a History, Bible, and Technology Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.
With a close-knit student body of approximately 80 students, Maplewood offers a unique opportunity to mentor and disciple young people in a Christ-centered, residential learning environment.
Position Overview
The selected candidate will teach a combination of courses in:
- History (various levels)
- Bible/Religion
- Technology (e.g., computer applications, digital literacy, or related subjects)

Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction
- Integrate faith and learning in all subject areas
- Foster a positive, Christ-centered classroom environment
- Participate in campus life, including spiritual programming and student activities
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (teaching certification preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Commitment to Seventh-day Adventist education and beliefs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to connect with and mentor high school students in a boarding school setting
- Experience in one or more of the subject areas preferred
