Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Coordinate and oversee the activities of the skilled unit. Maintain equipment, tools, and physical plant.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Supervise and direct the maintenance staff.
- Conduct daily visual inspections of equipment, tooling and physical plant. Recommend and supervise repairs.
- Recommend to Plant Engineer changes in tooling and equipment to improve reliability, reduce cost, improve safety, and product quality.
- Prepares machine shop cost estimate for rolls, dies, etc.
- Maintains preventative maintenance and safety records for forklifts, cranes, etc.
