The Scheduling Manager is responsible for overseeing centralized and/or clinic-based scheduling operations to ensure timely patient access ,optimal provider utilization, and efficient patient experience. This role manages scheduling workflows, call center performance, and template optimization while supporting front-end revenue cycle accuracy and access to care. This position will collaborate with other managers to develop sustainable processes that reduce avoidable denials and improve overall revenue cycle performance.
High School Diploma required with Bachelor's preferred.
Additional requirements:
- Requires 3-5 years of scheduling, call center, or Patient Access leadership experience
- Experience with Epic Cadence preferred
- Strong understanding of access management and front-end revenue cycle
- Partner with Epic analysts to enhance scheduling functionality and automation
- Ensure accurate capture of patient demographics as well as insurance and referral requirements
- Coordinate with Financial Clearance to ensure authorization requirements are identified at scheduling
- Clean downstream billing and reduced denials
