Job Description

We currently have an opening for a Senior Financial Systems & Reporting Analyst come grow with us! 

Reporting to the VP, Finance, the successful candidate will support the Corporate Reporting & Compliance function. They will be providing hands-on financial systems administration, reporting, budgeting support, and consolidation assistance, with a primary focus on Prophix and Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain and support the FP&A system, including system structure, reporting, dashboards, and underlying data maintenance.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain standard and ad hoc reports and dashboards to support management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities.  
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across FP&A system outputs. 
  • Prepare and analyze ad hoc financial information and analyses to support management decision‑making.
  • Support acquisition‑related financial integration and consolidation activities.  
  • Assist with preparation and support of consolidated financial information for month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end reporting.  
  • Support the preparation of financial statement schedules and disclosures in compliance with IFRS. 
  • Prepare and analyze ad hoc financial information related to consolidation and reporting activities as required.
  • Support the annual budget and periodic forecast processes in collaboration with the Director, FP&A.  
  • Assist with coordination, validation, and analysis of budget and forecast inputs using the FP&A system.  
  • Support variance analysis and reporting related to budget and forecast results. 
  • Provide finance‑related ERP system administration support, including maintenance of the chart of accounts, fiscal calendars, and reporting structures. 
  • Assist in maintaining data integrity and alignment between ERP and FP&A systems.

 

Do you qualify? We are seeking:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or similar
  • CPA (Desirable)
  • 6+ years of related work experience in financial analysis & reporting
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience working with ERP systems (D365 preferred)
  • Experience with IFRS preferred
  • Understanding of manufacturing and costing concepts
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
