Summary

The Program Manager translates strategic priorities into actionable project plans and, in partnership with program sponsors and leaders, plans, resources, implements, and evaluates programs that advance L&OD's key objectives. The role also provides portfolio level oversight, advising on scope, financials, metrics, interdependencies, and change impacts to enable informed decision making and successful outcomes.
Job Duties
- Own end to end execution of L&OD programs, translating strategy and design into integrated project plans with clear timelines, milestones, deliverables, risks, and change controls.
- Independently lead and facilitate assigned initiatives, coordinating across L&OD functions, stakeholders, HR partners, and vendors to ensure seamless delivery without direct authority.
- Serve as the primary operational point of contact for program stakeholders, providing clear, proactive communication on scope, progress, risks, decisions, and interdependencies.
- Manage program operations and logistics, including scheduling, materials readiness, participant tracking, platforms/tools, and maintenance of the overall L&OD calendar.
- Track and manage budgets, contracts, resources, and vendor relationships; support forecasting, approvals, and utilization decisions.
- Establish and manage program metrics (participation, completion, feedback, outcomes), synthesize insights, and recommend continuous improvements.
- Maintain program documentation, standards, policies, and timelines to ensure consistency, transparency, and operational rigor.
- Enable L&OD practitioners by removing operational complexity so they can focus on content, facilitation, and consulting impact.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3 years related work experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication, problem solving, critical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive execution, manage details, and deliver results while operating across multiple workstreams and in ambiguous environments.
- Experience managing complex programs or portfolios within Learning, Organization Development, Talent, HR, Change, or related enterprise functions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and comfort using standard office technology.
- Proficiency with program / project management software (Microsoft Project / Smartsheets).

Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
