Generations Family Health Center, Inc. is a regional community health center covering a 37-town rural region in eastern Connecticut with sites located in Willimantic, Danielson, Norwich, and Putnam. Our dedicated staff provides a full range of primary care services to all ages including medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare, as well as care coordination and community outreach.



 



Position: The Information Technology (IT) Manager serves as Generations’ full-time, on-site Information Technology department manager, focused on day-to-day IT operations, staff supervision, helpdesk escalation management, vendor coordination, and equipment and access administration.   The IT Manager will also oversee/manage the IT operation and activities including networking, telecommunication and user support activities inclusive of the needs of Generations’ individual departments and programs. This role will also oversee/manage activities including network, internet and email administration (both in-house and with contractors), network engineer and security management, hardware/software purchasing in conjunction with Senior Management, site maintenance and troubleshooting, consulting liaison to vendor technical support, and hardware/software installation and diagnosis.  This role will provide overall systems maintenance and upgrades to all computer systems at all sites.  The IT Manager also contributes to short-term technology planning, supports budget development, and ensures alignment of IT operations with organizational priorities, while escalating enterprise-level strategy and policy decisions.
