Gills Point S is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Assistant Manager in Training to join our team. This role is designed to develop future leaders by providing hands-on experience in all aspects of retail store operations, team leadership, and customer service.

As an Assistant Manager in Training, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations while building the skills needed to successfully lead a store. This includes sales performance, team development, operational execution, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Support store leadership in driving sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals 
  • Assist in supervising and developing team members, including hiring, onboarding, and training 
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to improve team performance and productivity 
  • Help manage scheduling, payroll, and labor efficiency to meet company targets 
  • Ensure a consistently high-quality customer experience through daily operational oversight 
  • Monitor shop productivity and workflow to maximize efficiency 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and safety standards 
  • Assist in managing inventory, supplies, and equipment 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment 
  • Step in to lead the store in the absence of the Store Manager


Requirements
