Job Description

Role Purpose 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager as part of our Central Build Project Management team. As the principal liaison between various departments and teams, you will be responsible for supporting all network build activities in accordance with our company's standards, values, goals, and North Stars. 

Your main duties will include overseeing an assigned project shop in one or more of the following business streams: 

  • Customer Driven – TX or INFRA 
  • Flex ILS rollout and spectrum optimization programs 
  • Strategic Investment Programs – including new Strategic DCs 
  • Cost Saving – COR Programs 
  • General Program As Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that project timelines are met, budgets are managed effectively, and all stakeholders are kept informed of project progress. 

You will work closely with Service Delivery, Strategic Investments, Central & Regional Engineering teams, Operations department, Finance, Vendor Management, GIS, external Vendors & consultants, and other teams to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate for this position will have a proven track record of managing projects and general coordination, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a strong understanding of network build activities. Key responsibilities

  • Supervise and oversee assigned network project shop related to all business streams. 
  • Ensure the implementation of projects and services aligns with business commitments and complies with industry standards, meeting internal Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) & Processes. 
  • Ensure highest quality assurance is applied to all Projects & Programs within the owned Project Shop and maintain clean Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRMs) and Network Inventory Systems. 
  • Collaborate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders, such as Service Delivery, Strategic Investments, Central & Regional Engineering teams, Operations department, Finance, Vendor Management, GIS, external Vendors and effectively implement build projects within agreed-upon timelines. 
  • Lead and organize internal & external project reviews to ensure seamless communication and alignment of planning throughout the organization. 

 
Individual Profile 

  • Experience in project or program management within a multi-national Telco/IT environment 
  • Preferred qualification: Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) such as Oracle, Siebel, Sales Force, CMD, etc., 
  • Excellent knowledge of telco-related technologies, including Infrastructure and Facility, Transmission, IP, and Voice technology and principles. 
  • Proactive in identifying ways to improve efficiency and results. 
  • Ability to anticipate and analyse problems clearly and determine appropriate solutions or alternatives. 
  • Proficient in MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and CRM systems. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively. 
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated with exceptional organizational and communication skills. 
  • Strong sense of urgency and the ability to convey it to peers, management, and suppliers alike. 
  • Attention to detail and a highly structured approach to work management. 
  • Able to operate in a cross-functional matrix-management environment. 
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines. 
  • Strong time management skills. 
  • Team player with a flexible and adaptable attitude. 
  • Good written and oral communication skills. 
  • Fluent in English language skills..
