Description:

Bus Drivers

This position requires safely operating school buses under various weather conditions, including fog, rain, sleet, snow, and ice.  Transports students to and from a variety of school sites and assures their safety while they are on the school bus.  Responsible for ensuring the safety of all passengers, including special education students, while operating the assigned bus, and for ensuring that the assigned bus is in a safe operating condition at all times.

Job Summary:
1.  Possess a valid school bus driver's license issued by the Illinois Secretary of State
2.  Current in all bus driver training mandated by the district and the state of Illinois
3.  Good health with no long-term disabilities that affect performance in essential job duties
4.  Demonstrated aptitude or competency in the performance responsibilities of a school bus driver

Terms and Conditions:
Salary based on experience, starting at $35.00 per Hour/Route
Subject to random drug and alcohol testing
