馃Л About the Role

As a Title Officer III, you鈥檒l lead the most complex title examinations and serve as a key advisor on intricate real estate transactions. You鈥檒l work closely with attorneys, underwriters, and high-value clients, while mentoring junior staff and ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.

馃攳 What You鈥檒l Do

  • Examine and interpret complex title records, legal documents, and property interests.
  • Handle advanced title orders including commercial, leaseholds, energy projects, mining claims, and REOs.
  • Resolve intricate title issues and discrepancies in collaboration with legal and underwriting teams.
  • Prepare and record documents with county clerks as needed.
  • Plot and interpret all types of legal descriptions, including metes and bounds.
  • Serve as a primary contact for high-value clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide expert guidance on endorsements, commitments, and policies.
  • Mentor and train junior Title Officers and Assistants.
  • Oversee task assignments and performance feedback for support staff.
  • Participate in business development and community engagement to promote services.

馃 What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in title, escrow, or real estate.
  • At least 3 years as a Title Officer or Title Assistant.
  • Mastery of title plant systems, legal documentation, and title insurance procedures.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and title/escrow software.
  • Leadership and mentoring capabilities.
