Responsibilities:

Ensure participant safety at the climbing wall

Open and close the climbing wall
-
Check in and supervise climbers
-
Teach belay courses and conduct belay tests
-
Inspect and manage equipment inventory
-
Set climbing routes (with approval from the Assistant Director)
-
Maintain the climbing wall and facility
-
Attend regular Outdoors staff meetings and all-staff training
-
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Willingness to learn new skills
Hours of Position:

Regular Wall Hours

Monday–Thursday: 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Friday: 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Saturday: 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
