Job Title: Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) – Skilled Nursing
Location: Redmont Health and Rehabilitation Center – Birmingham, Alabama
Redmont Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a strong and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team at our skilled nursing facility in Birmingham, AL.
This is a key clinical leadership role responsible for supporting the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily nursing operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving high-quality resident care and outcomes.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the Director of Nursing in daily clinical operations
- Supervise and guide nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Assist with survey readiness and quality improvement initiatives
- Monitor clinical documentation, care plans, and resident outcomes
- Participate in staffing, scheduling, and performance management
- Provide leadership, training, and support to nursing team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care
What We’re Looking For:
- Active RN license in the state of Alabama
- Skilled nursing or long-term care experience required
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and survey process
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
