    Position Overview:
    The successful candidate will be an individual who firmly believes:
    -All students can and will learn, and their learning can be directly influenced by focusing on factors over which we have control.
    -You can work interdependently with teachers, school, and district leaders throughout the system, aligning the work of adults around improving student learning by meeting students' needs, interests, and aspirations.
    -You want to work with staff to continuously improve practices that enhance student and family engagement, creating the conditions for student success.

    Primary Responsibilities:
    Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:
    -Assisting teachers and students with instructional activities.
    -Observing, monitoring, and redirecting student behavior.
    -Providing assistance and support to students in accomplishing activities of daily living

    Preferences:
    We strongly prefer candidates who have excellent collaboration skills with colleagues and an enthusiasm for working with students. 

    Qualifications:
    Must be able to meet Highly Qualified requirements, which include: AA degree or the completion of 60 post-secondary credits or the completion of a combination of Cooperative training programs, experience, and course work of an equivalent nature and level to perform the requirements of the work as determined by the Minnesota Department of Education, or a passing score on ParaPro or the ParaEducator assessment.

    Salary and Benefits:
    The salary for this position is: $22.82
