Instruct & Supervise: Assist Clinical Skills faculty in instructing and supervising veterinary students during laboratory sessions in the pre-clinical curriculum (Years 1–3).
Lab Preparation & Execution: Prepare, set up, and conduct clinical skills laboratories, ensuring all materials, models, and specimens are ready for instruction.
Demonstration & Coaching: Demonstrate clinical procedures and techniques using simulations and live animals, providing skill-based coaching and constructive feedback to students.
Assessment Support: Set up and assist in administering Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs).
Lab & Equipment Stewardship: Maintain all teaching laboratories, equipment, and storage areas to a high standard of organization, cleanliness, and operational readiness.
Curriculum Delivery: Utilize diverse teaching tools—including simulation models, anatomic specimens, and live animals—to train students in clinical skills across principal veterinary species (e.g., dogs, cats, horses, livestock).
Asset Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of teaching assets, including the inventory, maintenance, repair, and sterilization of simulation models and surgical equipment.
Supply Chain Coordination: Facilitate the procurement, receipt, and organization of all laboratory equipment, supplies, and consumables.
Collaboration: Cultivate effective, collaborative working relationships with faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders in support of the A-State CVM mission.
