Position Summary
The Senior Benefits Technology Specialist is responsible for designing and optimizing benefits technology solutions that reduce administrative burden and enhance the client experience. This role partners closely with the Benefits Technology Manager and Director of Client Technology to lead implementations, drive process improvements, and deliver high-impact system solutions using Employee Navigator and related platforms. This individual will play a key role in improving team efficiency and elevating overall service delivery.
Essential Functions
Client Implementation & System Strategy
- Lead configuration and implementation of Employee Navigator benefit administration systems
- Design and recommend system solutions based on client needs, including analysis of available modules and capabilities
- Create and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables for client implementations and integrations
Integrations & Technical Expertise
- Build and manage data integrations between Employee Navigator, UKG Ready, carriers, and payroll/vendor systems
- Serve as a subject matter expert in Employee Navigator, maintaining deep system knowledge and best practices
Client Management & Service Delivery
- Manage Open Enrollment processes, including system renewals, audits, timelines, and communications
- Respond to client inquiries with professionalism, accuracy, and timeliness
- Conduct system audits, employee data census reviews, and enrollment validations
Training & Internal Enablement
- Train client HR users on Employee Navigator functionality and best practices
- Educate and support internal team members on benefits technology solutions
- Contribute to process improvements and internal knowledge sharing across the team
Compliance & Additional Support
- Assist with ACA filing processes through Employee Navigator
- Support the Benefits Technology Manager and the Director of Client Technology on team initiatives and strategic projects

Requirements
Required Education and Experience
- 4+ years of experience configuring and implementing Employee Navigator
- 4+ years of experience in employee benefits, including knowledge of plan design and benefits administration processes
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Life & Health Insurance license preferred, but not required
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated experience with Employee Navigator configuration; experience with UKG Ready is a plus
- In-depth knowledge of employee benefit plan designs and administration processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency strongly preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and communicate directly with clients in a professional manner
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and stooping all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 20 pounds.
