    4th-Grade  AT IBER HOLMES GOVE MIDDLE SCHOOL
    This is a long term placement for the full 2026-2027 school year

    Iber Holmes Gove Middle School is Raymond's grade 4 - 8 school with a student population of 425+/-. We are a team based school with five grade level teams and a unified arts team. Each grade level team is made up of four to five classroom teachers and a special education case manager. The unified arts team is made up of the art, FCS, health, librarian, music, PE, and STEM teachers

    The long term 4th grade teacher will have a self contained classroom teaching ELA, math, science and social studies and be an active member of the 4th grade team.

    Classroom Teacher

    REPORTS TO:  School Principal

    JOB GOAL:  To make knowledge accessible to all students by developing their cognitive capacity and respect for learning.  Foster students' self-esteem, motivation, and sense of civic responsibility.

    POSITION DESCRIPTION: Provide an educational atmosphere where students have the opportunity to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and psychological growth.  This person is responsible for organizing and implementing an instructional program that will result in students achieving academic success in accordance with Raymond School District Policies.

    QUALIFICATIONS:  The class room teacher will meet all qualifications and behavior standards as set by the Sate of New Hampshire authority.  In accordance with certification requirements and the performances expectations of the Raymond Public Schools, all classroom teachers shall meet the following employment criteria.

    1. The minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
    2. A valid New Hampshire Teacher's Certificate (applicable level-area endorsements preferred.)
    3. A completed credential file that meets Raymond Public School standards.
    4. Professional verification of successful classroom teacher performance and/or student teaching experience.
    5. Evidence of the willingness and the ability to comply with the standards for ethical and professional performance established by the State Board of Education.
    6. Interview/file data will include evidence of sensitivity and respect for others and verification of the demonstrated ability to serve as a positive role model for youth.
    7. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.

    • Maintains open lines of communication with parent/guardians.
    • Engages in professional growth activities through an ongoing program of job-related knowledge and skill development
    • Works collaboratively with colleagues and administration to achieve the overall purposes of the school program.
