Job Summary:
The Showroom Sales Consultant plays a key role in delivering an elevated customer experience by helping clients select products that meet both their functional needs and design vision. You will work directly with customers in the showroom and over the phone, guiding them through their projects from initial consultation to final delivery and after-sales support.
Essential Job Duties
- Engage with customers in the showroom and via phone/email to understand project needs
- Provide expert product recommendations aligned with design, functionality, and budget
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
- Prepare quotes, create purchase orders, and process sales transactions
- Coordinate deliveries and manage order timelines
- Provide after-sales service and resolve customer inquiries or issues
- Maintain showroom presentation and product knowledge
- Building trust and long-term relationships with customers
- Delivering an exceptional, personalized customer experience
- Demonstrating strong product knowledge and solution-based selling
- Contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma completed, business or related field
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- 2 plus years’ experience in a customer-facing sales role
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Experience in a showroom environment and kitchen/bath, plumbing, or related industry
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Strong communication skills (in-person, phone, and email)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard office technology
- A positive, professional, and customer-focused approach
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Physical Demand & Work Environment
- 7 -10 hours Five-day work week, including Saturdays
- Requires regular physical activity (walking, standing, sitting)
- Demands sustained physical movement and visual acuity for safe and effective task execution.
