    Webster City CSD is anticipating a K - 6 Physical Education / Grades 7 - 8 Health Teacher who is passionate about helping students build healthy habits, develop confidence, and understand the importance of lifelong wellness - and who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team across multiple schools.

    What You'll Do

    • Teach K-6 Physical Education at Northeast Hamilton and Stratford Elementary Schools (shared assignment)
    • Teach Grades 7-8 Health at the middle school
    • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and skill development
    • Provide instruction in health topics, including wellness, nutrition, and decision-making
    • Build strong relationships with students across multiple buildings
    • Promote positive student behavior and sportsmanship
    • Collaborate with staff across buildings to support student success
    • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture

     

    What We Offer

    Minimum starting salary: $50,000 for educators new to the profession
     (The 2026 - 27 starting salary schedule is pending board approval.)

    Licensure / Endorsement Requirements

    Preferred candidates will hold one or more of the following Iowa endorsements:

    • K- 8 Physical Education - 146, preferred
    • 5-12 Physical Education - 147
    • 5-12 Health - 138 

    Other applicable Iowa endorsements may also be considered.

    Candidates who are eligible for licensure or are currently completing an approved teacher preparation program are encouraged to apply.
