We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our automotive service team. As a Service Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional customer service. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, managing their vehicle maintenance and repair needs while delivering a positive experience.

  • 3-5 years previous service advisor experience preferred
Responsibilities:
1. Customer Interaction:
聽 聽- Greet customers and provide a warm, friendly, and professional atmosphere.
聽 聽- Act as the main point of contact for customers, understanding their concerns and requirements.
聽 聽- Listen actively to customer concerns, document them accurately, and communicate them effectively to the service technicians.
2. Service Coordination:
聽 聽- Schedule and confirm service appointments, ensuring efficient use of technicians' time and resources.
聽 聽- Consult with customers to gather necessary information, including vehicle history, symptoms, and requested services.
聽 聽- Advise customers on appropriate services, maintenance schedules, and required repairs based on manufacturer recommendations and guidelines.
3. Cost Estimation and Approval:
聽 聽- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for parts, labor, and additional services required.
聽 聽- Explain cost estimates to customers, providing clear and understandable explanations.
聽 聽- Obtain customer approval for repairs, ensuring transparency and consent throughout the process.
4. Repair Order Management:
聽 聽- Create and manage repair orders, documenting all services performed, parts used, and additional recommendations.
聽 聽- Maintain accurate and up-to-date service records for each customer and vehicle, ensuring compliance with dealership and legal requirements.
聽 聽- Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
5. Customer Satisfaction:
聽 聽- Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly.
聽 聽- Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate as necessary to resolve them effectively.
聽 聽- Strive to exceed customer expectations, providing personalized and exceptional service.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional automotive education or certification is a plus).
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and team members.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Sound technical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs.
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with automotive software and systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
