An EVS Stewarding Supervisor manages the daily operations of the stewarding and cleaning staff, and is responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in kitchen areas (back-of-house) and public areas (front-of-house).
Job Requirements:
- Supervise the cleaning operations to meet the requirements of the Health Department.
- Assist in the training and supervision of department staff.
- Assist in the daily inspections of all Food & Beverage back of the house and Casino front of house areas for cleanliness and maintenance of equipment.
- Ensure the cleanliness of all cooking equipment, floors and walls.
- Directs the daily activities of stewarding and EVS staff, ensuring maximum efficiency, conducting pre-shift briefings, and training new employees.
- Manages inventory of cleaning supplies, monitors chemical usage, and orders replacements to ensure proper stock levels. Assist in maintaining the stock of dishes, glassware, silverware and other operating supplies.
- Oversee the disposal of trash and garbage.
- Assist with staffing needs, scheduling, and disciplinary issues.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
