ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Competently operate all stations in the buffet as assigned (both front and back of house).
- Take responsibility for all food produced by the Banquet kitchen.
- Train all new cooks at any and all stations as needed.
- Prepare food for banquet menus.
- Handle banquet food plating and presentation.
- Take direction from the Banquet Chef.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen.
- Assume a leadership role in the kitchen.
- Provide a consistently high level of service.
- Identify issues and suggest potential solutions.
- Promote an atmosphere of teamwork.
- Ensure that all Banquet staff members remain busy and motivated.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
