Job Description

We are looking for an active runner to lead Sherwood Park 205 Festive Way Running Room Run Club every Wednesday evening 6pm-7:15pm. Run Club leaders offer support to fellow members and try to create an inclusive environment where no one is left behind.

 

  • Run Club leader sends 2 weekly emails to participants with Run Club details, Running Room events & meet-up details.
  • Every Wednesday evening meet at Sherwood Park Running Room store. Leaders will organize participants in pace and/or distance groups.  Then, lead group on the run, making sure everyone has a group to run or walk with.
  • Run Club leaders can create themed Run Club nights
  • Run Club leaders get paid $20 per hour/3hrs per week.
  • Leader must be comfortable running 6-8km.

 

Run Club is an extension of the Running Room’s philosophy on running. It is a community within a community where people of all skill levels can get together and enjoy all the running offers. It is a place to meet new people and make new friendships while achieving personal goals.
